This year we didn't buy anything new to wrap our gifts. I used Jeremy's old plans from work as wrapping paper and added fabric, felt, twine, and stamps that I already had to embellish them and add color.
I'm not showing a close up of the gift tags yet because I don't want to ruin the surprise for family. I will post a close up after Christmas.
I found the tutorial for the felt pom poms here.
It feels so good to have this finished!

so cute and what a FABULOUS idea! i'm headed to our goodwill tonight to pick up some old books/atlases to wrap with. i love the sweetness of it and it's much, much cheaper than wrapping paper:) merry christmas, dear!
ReplyDeletethese look amazing!! i absolutely love the plans as wrapping paper - such a personal, unique touch, and they create such pretty patterns!

ReplyDeleteThese are AMAZING!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderfully, unique way to wrap! I love the idea of re-using instead of buying. I wish that I wrapped as beautifully as you...I need to find some elves to teach me the art of gift wrapping. ;) Ha.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!!!!!

I love that you reused the old plans! Awesome! I try to do that with other things I have just lying around the house, not going anywhere soon!
ReplyDeleteYour wrapping is wonderful! The floral bow gives it a nice touch :)
ReplyDeleteI will probably just use newspaper, although yours look so nice! I'd be surprised if my one brother wrapped any of his gifts at all, haha. "Statement" wrapping?
